Connect your till or other software (API keys and webhooks)
Let your own systems read orders, set stock and hear about new orders. Business plan.
- Open Settings → Developers.
- For a system that reads orders or sets stock: make an API key, tick what it may do, and copy the key into that system.
- For a system that should hear about orders: add a webhook with its https address, pick the events, copy the secret, then Send a test.
What it is for
A till that lowers your stock on Tajer when you sell in the shop, a kitchen printer that prints each new order, Zapier copying paid orders into a sheet, or your own software. Most shops never need it.
Keep keys safe
Anyone with a key can do what you ticked for it. Give it only to the system that needs it, and press Revoke if it leaks; the system then stops working until you give it a new key.
