Print kitchen tickets, receipts, packing slips and labels

Print any order on a receipt printer, an A5 sheet or a label.

  1. Open an order.
  2. Tap Kitchen ticket, Receipt, Packing slip or Label. It opens sized for its paper and the print window appears.
  3. Choose your printer: an 80 mm receipt printer for tickets and receipts, A5 paper for slips, 62 mm labels for labels.

What each shows

The kitchen ticket and the label have no prices. The receipt has prices, VAT and whether it is paid. A packing slip for a gift leaves the prices out and shows the gift message.

Bluetooth printer (no cable, no network)

Open Settings → Bluetooth printer and tap Connect printer, then pick your printer from the list. It works in Chrome on Android phones and tablets, and in Chrome or Edge on computers (not on iPhone or iPad from the browser). After that, the Print menu on each order has Kitchen ticket (Bluetooth) and Receipt (Bluetooth), and the till prints its receipts on it with no print window. Choose 58 or 80 mm paper and how many copies.

Print new orders by themselves

Switch on Print each new order by itself in Settings → Bluetooth printer. While Tajer is open on that device, every new order prints its kitchen ticket as it comes in, once even with two tabs open. Keep the screen on (the Order screen does this for you) so the phone does not sleep.

Which printer works

A thermal receipt printer (58 or 80 mm) with Bluetooth 4.0 / BLE (often sold as working with iOS and Android) and ESC/POS. Battery ones suit food trucks and markets. Printers with only Bluetooth 2.0 (SPP) cannot be reached from a browser. If a ticket prints as symbols, switch on Print slower.
