Recipes and costing: what to buy and what you can make

Give each product its recipe once. Then see what one costs, what to buy for 50 of them, and what you can make with what you have.

  1. Open Products → Recipes, then Ingredients. Add the common ones in one tap, and give each its pack and price (for example 2 kg for 1.200).
  2. On Recipes, tap a product: say how many one batch makes and add its ingredients, in grams, kilos, cups or spoons. The cost of one and its share of the price show as you type.
  3. On Plan → I want to make, type how many. You get the batches, the time, what it costs and sells for, and the shopping list in whole packs, ready for WhatsApp.
  4. On Plan → What can I make?, see the most of each product your stock allows, what runs out first, and a mix that earns the most.

The production sheet

Recipes → Production turns the orders due on a day (tomorrow first) into what to make, the batches and when to start each one so it is ready for its first order. Set how many ovens or pots you use at once. Print it or send it to the kitchen on WhatsApp; the ingredients it needs show against what you counted.

Sizes and extras

If a product has options, a size can take the recipe more than once (a large box = 2 small ones) and an extra can add its own ingredients ("with Nutella"). The planner and the costs follow the choices.

Restaurants and cafés

The share of the price is your food cost. Pick a target (25, 30, 35 or 40%) and the recipe suggests a price. Waste, gas and packaging per batch can go in too.

Keeping stock right (Pro)

With Pro, an order takes its ingredients out when you mark it ready or delivered. Things you make ahead take them out when you tap I made it, and the product stock goes up at the recipe’s cost. I bought it adds what came in and can put it in your expenses.

Counting

Ingredients → Count lets you type what you have now, on any plan. Leave an ingredient empty if you do not count it; the planner then treats it as enough.

Where your money goes (every plan)

Recipes → Recipes has Show customers where their money goes. With it on, a customer whose items all have a recipe with every ingredient priced sees on their tracking page what went on ingredients, on packaging and the rest, what you keep, about how long it took you, and what a delivery app would have taken. Orders with an item that has no full costing show nothing.
