Shop type and tools: a back office that fits your business

Food, ready goods, made to order, appointments or events: your shop type sets the words for each order step, what Home shows first and which tools are in your menu. Switch any tool on or off.

  1. Open Settings, then Shop type and tools.
  2. Leave it on Automatic (worked out from your products: services make it Appointments, made-to-measure makes it Made to order, otherwise your categories) or pick a type.
  3. Each type shows its order steps: a makeup artist sees Requested, Booked, On my way, Done; a perfume shop sees New, Packing, Out for delivery, Delivered.
  4. Under Tools in your menu, switch on anything else you use, or off what you do not. Home and Settings always stay.

What changes

The words on your orders and on your customers' tracking page, the menu on the left, and Home. Kitchen tools (recipes, leftovers, order screen, tables) only show for food unless you switch them on.
