Stock per size or colour
Give each size or colour its own number in stock. Orders take it off, a cancelled order puts it back, and customers see what is sold out.
- Open a product and go to its options (for example Size).
- The group must let customers pick one. Turn on Count stock per choice.
- Type how many you have of each choice. A choice with 0 shows as sold out; with 5 or fewer the customer sees Only 3 left in M.
- Each order takes its choices off; cancelling it puts them back. Choices without a number are not counted.
Tips
- The product’s own stock still counts too, if you track it: an order needs both.
- Counter sales at the till are not taken off per choice.
