Tajer Al Fareej is run by AngoNet in the Kingdom of Bahrain. This page explains what we store, why, where it is kept, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Who is responsible

AngoNet is responsible for seller accounts, customer accounts and the platform itself.

Orders belong to the shop they were placed with. The shop decides how to use them to serve you; we store them on the shop's behalf.

What we store

Sellers: your email address; your shop details (names, WhatsApp number, business email and address, Instagram, CR and VAT numbers you add); your products, photos and videos.

Orders: the name, WhatsApp number, delivery address, notes and, if you choose to share it, the map location a customer gives at checkout; the items, totals, payment method, payment reference and status.

Customers who sign in: your email address, the details you save for checkout, and the orders you place while signed in.

Why we use it

To run shops and deliver orders, which is the service you asked for.

To keep Tajer Al Fareej safe: reviewing shops before they go public, preventing misuse and fixing problems.

Your location is only used when you tap "Use my location", and only to fill your address and give the shop a map pin.

To improve Tajer Al Fareej using combined figures that do not identify anyone.

What stays on your device

Your cart, your light or dark choice and, for guests, the checkout details you typed are kept in your own browser. Clearing your browser data removes them. We do not receive this copy.

Who sees it

A shop sees its own orders and customers, never another shop's.

Our team sees shop details to review shops, and order data only when needed to support a shop or investigate misuse.

Service providers who run parts of the service for us: Supabase (database, sign-in and files), Vercel (the website), OpenStreetMap's Nominatim (only the map point, when you tap "Use my location") and Google (only if you sign in with Google).

We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising.

Where it is kept

The database and files are stored by Supabase in Mumbai, India. The website is served by Vercel's global network. This means your data is kept outside Bahrain and the other Gulf states.

We keep it outside the country only with providers that protect it with security measures and written commitments, under the rules for transfers in Bahrain's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 30 of 2018) and its 2022 resolutions, and Saudi Arabia's Personal Data Protection Law for users in Saudi Arabia.

How long we keep it

Accounts and shops: until you delete them.

Orders: for as long as the shop keeps its account, as its business records. Issued invoices are kept for as long as tax rules require.

When you delete your account, your data is removed from the live system straight away.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, object to how we use it, or ask us to delete it.

Delete your account yourself at any time: customers in My orders, sellers in Settings. Deleting a shop removes its products, photos, orders and customers.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Personal Data Protection Authority in Bahrain, or to the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA) in Saudi Arabia.

Security

All connections are encrypted. Access rules in the database let each shop reach only its own data. We never collect card details: customers pay sellers directly.
