Automations: rules that work by themselves

On Business, rules run when an order is placed, paid or delivered: tag the customer, give store credit, accept the order or hand it to a driver.

1. Go to Settings → Automations and tap New rule.
2. Choose when (placed, paid, delivered), if (any order, the first, the Nth, a total of at least, delivery or pickup) and what to do.
3. Save. Each rule shows how often it ran and if any run failed. Switch a rule off or edit it any time.

Tips

• A rule that fails never stops an order; it is just counted as failed.
• Ideas: accept orders by themselves, tag first orders “new”, give store credit on every 10th delivered order, send deliveries to your driver.
