Sell by weight

Sell dates, sweets, spices or meat by the gram: customers order steps of 250 g, you weigh it and the final price follows the real weight.

1. Open a product. Under the price, choose Sold by: Per 100 g, 250 g, 500 g or 1 kg.
2. The price is for one step. The editor shows what that makes a kilo.
3. Customers order in steps (750 g is three steps of 250 g); the bag and your WhatsApp message say the grams and that the final price follows the weight.
4. When you prepare it, open the order and type the real weight under Weigh it, then Save weight. The line and the order total change at the same price per gram.
5. Tap Send the final price to tell the customer on WhatsApp.

Tips

• Weigh before the order is marked paid: a paid, cancelled or invoiced order keeps its total.
• Your books follow the new total by themselves.
