Tasting boxes that become credit
Sell a tasting box before a wedding or an event; what the customer paid comes off the order it leads to, by itself.
- Open the product you sell as a tasting box and, under What is in it, tick Tasting box (Pro).
- When the tasting order is marked delivered, the customer gets store credit for what the boxes cost.
- When you send them a quote, it shows the tasting credit; when they accept, it pays that part of the order and the deposit asks for less. They can also spend it at checkout like any store credit.

The credit is store credit (Marketing → Gift cards shows it, source Tasting), and what it pays is booked like any gift card payment.
